Evidence-Based Coaching for
Trail, Ultra, and Road Athletes
My focus is coaching amazing people like you.
The podcast may have wrapped, but this is where the real work has always been: helping athletes prepare, execute, and thrive through evidence-based training. There are plenty of coaches in the trail and ultra world who talk about science and sound knowledgeable. But sounding scientific and being scientific are very different things, and unless you know the difference, they all sound good. I have spent my career straddling both worlds. From high-stakes research science to the extremes of ultra endurance, from professionals to first-timers, I have lived, worked, trained, and practiced across every domain. That is what I bring to your training.
2026 Season
Currently coaching athletes across every distance, from 5Ks and sub-2:30 marathons to the biggest 100-milers and 200-milers in the sport. Some have represented their countries on the international stage
Athletes I coach are preparing for Boston Marathon, New York Marathon, UTMB (UTMB, CCC), Western States, Hard Rock qualifiers, Tor des Geants, Moab 240, Transgrancanaria, and dozens of other races across the US and internationally.
I build every plan from the ground up using physiological principles, not templates, not guesswork. If you want to understand why you are doing what you are doing, not just be told what to do, this is the right place.
